Faith Stories of the Congregation. All are invited. Bring your own memory of an experience you have of your church. Who would we be without our stories.

March 1, Saturday LEAD Presbytery Work Shop
Dr. Shiflett will conduct the workshop on Biblical Storytelling. To be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights, IL.

March 12, Wednesday 7:30 p.m.
Story of Jesus going to Jerusalem. A mini-epic Reading presented by readers from the Story Center, Trinity Church, Antioch Telegu Baptist and Mi Casa di Oracion. This will be preceded by a Soup Supper beginning at 6:30 p.m.

March 16, Palm Sunday 11:00 a.m.
Story of Jesus entering Jerusalem and chasing the money changers out of the temple.

March 20, Maundy Thursday
Story of the last Supper and the closing of the tomb.

March 23, Easter Sunday
Story of the empty tomb,

May 11, Sunday
Story of the violent wind, the coming of the spirit. Mini Epic Reading on the day of Pentecost.

June 2008
Walk through the Bible Old Testament - 3 hour trip from Genesis to Malachi. New Testament - 3 hour trip from Matthew through Revelations.

August 2008

Second week of Advent. Story of Jesus Infancy Narritive in Advent. A Mini Epic Reading at the Story Center, Trinity Church, and Casa San Carlo, a Roman Catholic Retirement Center.

December 24, 2008 Wednesday 8:00 p.m.
The Nativity Narrative of the birth of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, will be read and told during a candlelight service. All are welcome.

December 28, 2008 Sunday 11:00 a.m.
Guest minister Dr Charles Yopst will tell of The Greatest Miracle.

Epiphany Sunday. The story of the Three Wise Men will be told.

January 11, 2009 11:00 a.m.
The story of the Baptism of the Lord will be told. Come and here.

January 25, 2009 11:00 a.m.
The story of the beginning of the Galilean ministry of Jesus will be told. On this Sunday, Pastor Shiflett will celebrate his ministry at Trinity Presbyterian Church of Northlake.

After this worship service, Annual Congregational Meeting will be held. Dr Shiflett will offer his resignation of the Center for Biblical Storytelling and will take the road seeking ways to encourage Biblical Storytelling in other churches and places that also want to hear the stories of the Bible
